In 2005, I bought a Perfect Grade Gundam Mk-II model made by Bandai. Perfect Grade represent a line of products that are more detailed than most kits you can get. It took my brother and I several months before we finally completed the model.
Consistent with other Perfect Grade kits, there are hundreds of parts, no glue necessary, a lot of screws, electrical wiring for lights, and removable armor covering. It's quality entertainment. Even better with another person, so that you won't have to build the arm and leg twice.
In the beginning, there was a huge box filled with parts, books with detailed instructions and bubble tea.

Fingers have joints that mimic people. All kinds of motions are possible...

Feet also have amazing amount of detail, too bad all of this is covered up with armor later.

Highlight of half-finished legs.

Batteries are difficult to find. Greedy shops think you only buy such batteries for your Rolex without paying them for installation, so are reluctant to sell. But true engineers always find a way to beta test.

It lights up, a feature common to Perfect Grade line of models.

LED lights are pretty bright, and the reflective coating inside control cockpit is a nice touch.

Compare with a Perfect Grade Zaku my brother built.
