Howl's Moving Castle (ハウルの動く城) is an animation written and directed by the famous Hayao Miyazaki (宮崎駿). Unlike many animations out there, Howl's Moving Castle has atypical characters, including old ladies, a talking fire, and a scarecrow.

This animation is especially charming due to the beautiful art work and subtle details that bring out conflicts between the various factions who are involved in a struggle for power, love and attention.
